VladTV caught up with Cassidy following the rescheduled match between him vs. Dizaster for an exclusive interview.
While fans weren't happy with the way things played out when Cassidy and Diz first stepped on stage at FilmOn TV's "Ether" event, the rescheduled battle that took place the following day was a big success. Dizaster acknowledged that Cassidy's performance was cleaner, during his post-battle interview with VladTV, and now Cassidy is claiming that he 3-0'd the veteran battler.
He also reflected on his business decision to wait until he was offered $250k to battle, and how he'll most likely battle again in the near future since there is more "chicken" being offered to those who compete in the sport. Cassidy doesn't have any intended targets on his lyrical hitlist, but is ready to battle anyone as long as the money is right.

State prosecutors have, for now, dropped the conspiracy case against convicted entertainer Adidja 'Vybz Kartel' Palmer and Gaza Slim.
Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Paula Llewellyn this morning entered what is called a nolle prosecqui, officially informing the Corporate Area Criminal Court that the Crown was no longer pursuing the case.
Kartel and Gaza Slim, whose given name is Vanessa Saddler, were charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Andre Henry, alias 'Pim Pim’ was also charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The possibility of the case being withdrawn was hinted at on Monday, when the case came up for mention and the DPP requested time to consider her options including a request from defense lawyers to discontinue the case.
Kartel’s attorney, Tom Tavares-Finson says he wrote to the DPP asking her not to go ahead with the trial based on the technical evidence that came out in the artiste’s murder trial which ended in a conviction in April.
Tavares- Finson says he informed the DPP that the witnesses for the conspiracy case were also involved in the murder trial.
And he said they are giving new statements contradicting evidence in the murder trial.
Tavares-Finson added that in the interest of justice, it would not be proper for the prosecution to continue the case.
Meanwhile, Finson says many of the arguments that the defense would be using at the conspiracy trial are part of the arguments submitted in Kartel’s appeal of his murder conviction and sentencing.
The lawyer says without the transcripts of the murder case, the defense would not be able to properly cross-examine witnesses in the conspiracy trial.
The DPP says she will review the matter until the end of the appeal and according to the law, she can resume prosecution.
Meanwhile, attorney-at-law Pierre Rogers was successful, in having the court granting an order for his client Gaza Slim to reclaim her passport.
Attorney, Charles Williams, represents the third accused in the matter.
It is alleged that Kartel and Gaza Slim were part of a plot to undermine a police investigation into the 2011 murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams’ death.
Gaza Slim allegedly turned up at the police station to report that Williams had robbed her, in a move to side-track the police who were investigating his murder at the time.
Kartel was convicted for Williams’ death in April.

When the first iPhone 6 reviews started appearing late last week, some critics came away disappointed with the device's battery life. Others, however, seemed perfectly content with how long the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 lasted on a single charge — making for a generally mixed consensus.
But according to technology website AnandTech's recent tests, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus can both outlast many high-end Android phones. The iPhone 6 lasted for a little more than 11 hours after enduring AnandTech's WiFi battery test, which consists of constantly browsing the Web with the display brightness set to 200 nits. The iPhone 6 Plus, comparatively, lasted a little longer than 13 hours.
According to AnandTech's comparisons, the only phone that scored higher on the same test than the iPhone 6 Plus is Huawei's Ascend Mate 2. The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 placed in fifth in terms of battery test results, falling under the Huawei Ascend Mate 2, the iPhone 6 Plus, the HTC One E8, and the Motorola Moto G.

In an exclusive interview with VladTV, veteran Hip-Hop producer Jermaine Dupri addressed prevalent rumors that Mariah Carey fired him as her manager due to low record sales of her latest album, Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse.
His initial reaction to the notion that he was fired was to laugh it off, as no one could fathom he'd actually want to leave the situation on his own accord.
"That's funny, dropped me [laughs]...that's the story people make because that's what people...people think in they minds that that's exactly how it has to happen. It can't be...that Jermaine woke up one morning and didn't want to do it no more, that just can't possibly happen right?"
He then went on to explain what really took place, saying he decided that his friendship with Mariah wasn't worth sacrificing in the name of being her manager.
"I wasn't dropped, I chose that...I chose to do this because me and Mariah are friends first and foremost...I have a relationship with her (this is the ongoing joke) I have a relationship with Mariah better than her and her husband. I've known her longer than her and her husband have known each other...with that being said you don't want to f**k that up, right? I saw a lot of things happening inside of me being her manager that could've f**ked that up."
The So So Def CEO also briefly touched on being one of the youngest execs in the music industry and denied knowing anything about Mariah's recently reported separation from husband Nick Cannon.

There is basically one thing driving the stock right now: The new iPhone 6, expected to be unveiled on Sept. 9 at an Apple media event.
Unlike iPhone 5S and 5C, the iPhone 6 will be a genuinely "new" model, coming in a bigger size with a number of new functions. And it will catch Apple users on the cusp of a massive upgrade cycle that will likely make the iPhone 6 a huge best-selling phone.
All of that news — and the stuff about the new smartwatch ("iWatch) wearable device coming at the same time — is priced into AAPL right now. That would suggest that once the Sept. 9 event is over, and the market has digested the news, the price might start to fall as investors decide to lock in their gains.
Unfortunately, history is no guide.
Immediately after the leak of hundreds of nude photos of celebrities, allegedly from Apple's iCloud backup storage system, the internet began investigating in an attempt to discover the hacker responsible. Now, the man widely accused as being the original leaker has stepped forward to deny allegations that he hacked into the iCloud accounts of the rich and famous.
Twenty-six-year-old web developer Bryan Hamade told the Daily Mail that he was not the source of the leaks. Reddit and 4chan users alleged Hamade was the culprit after a screenshot posted online appeared to show a series of names connected with a web development company in Georgia. (Investigations by the armchair detectives of Reddit do not have a great track record. They once wrongly accused a missing 22-year-old of being the Boston Marathon Bomber; he had nothing to do with it.)
Amateur internet sleuths used the names to discover Southern Digital Media, a web hosting company in Atlanta. While some internet users initially suspected the company's 15-year-old intern as the hacker, suspicion quickly turned to server administrator Hamade.
Hamade, speaking to MailOnline, denied Reddit's claims, saying, "I only reposted one thing that was posted elsewhere and stupidly had my network folders visible."
"I am not the original leaker. The real guy is on 4chan posting intermittently," Hamade says. "He's most likely the one behind it, but it does seem the photos passed around to multiple people before being leaked, so it may just be someone who has them and didn't hack to get them. I'd never in a million years know how to hack into any of the accounts listed. 4chan just attacked me because they like to attack anyone in situations such as this."
In a statement to BuzzFeed, Hamade said he was the target of abuse from people investigating the iCloud hack: "It’s been a nightmare and I haven’t slept in 34 hours, now. 4chan users are harassing me with non-stop phone calls and emails. They email me constantly, emailing saying they’ll hack my personal websites and keep calling my phone, calling me a fag and then hanging up. They also said they’ll hack my mom’s site, so I took it down."
“I regret it so much,” he went on to tell BuzzFeed. “I didn’t even get any bitcoin out of it. It’s the stupidest thing I’ve done and I hope it won’t ruin my life, though it probably will since it’s just the biggest news story.”
Reddit has a long history of launching frenzied investigations into current affairs. In July 2013, a Reddit community sprung up to investigate CCTV and available photographs of the Boston marathon bombings. One of the suspects identified by Reddit was later revealed to be an innocent homeless man who was later found dead.

A lot of fans are wondering what the hell exactly happened between Floyd Mayweather & 50 Cent?!?! Well Miranda Johnson of XXL Magazine caught up with Fif and asked for an explanation. Check out his answer…
50 Cent: “I’ll do things that will be really random and it’ll be the biggest thing at the moment ’cause nothing else is going on at that point. It happens over and over. Like just stopping by a game to throw a pitch turns into [me] on CNN and [I] can’t get away from it. When you have an aggressive aura around you, then I believe people don’t want to miss the opportunity to laugh at you. Floyd is one-dimensional. The Money Team concept is one-dimensional. We actually started pushing it during the recession. It was cool ’cause his viewership was going up but it’s not actually the right message for me and who I am. So I started working with The United Nations and The World Food Program, and feeding America. Providing meals through the SK Energy Shots and that was at the same time because I started realizing that this is not the right concept of what you should present to the public.”
“People think I get angry with Floyd, that’s like my younger brother. So he’ll do things and I won’t necessarily understand why he does it but it’ll agitate me and I’ll do things in response. Other times I’ll just watch him do something that I think is completely crazy. It’s just who he is. He doesn’t have to make adjustments for me and I don’t have to make adjustments for him. I stopped making adjustments for him. We have one of those love/hate relationships.”
“I don’t hate him, I love him, actually. Entering the sport of boxing is a reflection of that relationship. He doesn’t make any money away from the sport of boxing. That tells you when he’s done fighting, he’s done period. I just try to encourage him to do things away from the sport… ”
“It’s pretty tough to digest the concept that we don’t spend money the same. He spends all of his money. He lives a richer lifestyle than we actually live day to day. In the end, it’s not a sustainable lifestyle. I’ll have to help him when it gets too tough. We’ve had conversations about this.”
Jamaican-born, New York-based Dancehall artist Kranium is still riding off the success of his debut single Nobody Has to Know.
The 24 year old is currently promoting his new single Lifestyles, produced by Frequent Flyers Records, which is getting air play on major radio stations all over the Tri-State Area since its release.
The singer will make an appearance on BET’s 106 and Park on August 26 and has a number of shows booked for the rest of the summer. The protests and riots in Ferguson, Missouri echo the same message: deeply embedded racial inequality is what provoked the use of excessive police force that ultimately killed Michael Brown. Just how deep is this racial inequality? How is it fueling the ongoing riots?
It's been a long haul for Buju Banton, the famous Jamaican recording artist who has been gummed up in federal drug and gun charges since 2009. Despite two trials and an exhaustive series of New Times stories tracking the shady business behind the convictions, Banton -- born Mark Anthony Myrie -- remains in custody.
But now his case has taken another turn. On Monday, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta agreed to hear out Banton's case, an argument prepared by a heavyweight Harvard law professor and based on this publication's work.
Back in February, Charles Ogletree, a Harvard law professor who taught both Obamas, took over Banton's legal defense. He dropped a 55-page brief on the court that detailed all the problems with the case against the recording star.
And there are a lot of problems. First off, prosecutors used a paid informant to bait and hook Banton back in 2009 -- a move that constituted a clear case of entrapment. Also, as documented by former New Times staff writer Chris Sweeney, there was clear juror misconduct during the second federal trial, which ended in a guilty sentence. Jury foreperson Terri Wright told Sweeney after the trial that she did independent research on the charges.
Federal Judge James Moody called a special hearing to investigate. Wright claimed she was misquoted. Sweeney came to court with recordings that proved she said what she'd said. Moody decided to throw out one of Buju's convictions as a result. The reggae star, however, remained in jail.
Ogletree's brief submitted to the court earlier this year argued that Wright's misconduct tainted the whole trial and that a mistrial should have been declared. Despite the sound legal argument, there was a big chance the court would not take the case. Federal appeals courts hear few oral arguments.
But according to a release Monday from the Buju Banton Defense Support Committee, the court will hear Banton's argument. "Atty Ogletree says that the Court's approval for oral arguments is a positive step towards justice, victory and freedom for the incarcerated reggae icon," the group's coordinator, Rosemary Duncan, stated in the release.
The court has yet to schedule a date for the arguments. As always, check back with New Times for more information.
FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) -- Attorney General Eric Holder on Sunday ordered a federal medical examiner to perform another autopsy on a black Missouri teenager whose fatal shooting by a white police officer has spurred a week of rancorous and sometimes-violent protests in suburban St. Louis.
The "extraordinary circumstances" surrounding the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown and a request by Brown's family members prompted the order, Department of Justice spokesman Brian Fallon said in a statement.
The examination was to take as soon as possible, Fallon said.
As night fell in Ferguson, another peaceful protest quickly deteriorated after marchers pushed toward one end of a street. Police pushed them back by repeatedly firing tear gas, and the streets were clear by the time the curfew took effect at midnight.
The results of a state-performed autopsy would be taken into account along with the federal examination in the Justice Department investigation, Fallon said.
A preliminary private autopsy found that Brown was shot at least six times, including twice in the head.

The US says it has launched an air strike against militants from the Islamic State (IS) group in Iraq.
The Pentagon said American aircraft attacked artillery that was being used against Kurdish forces defending the northern city of Irbil.
President Barack Obama authorised air strikes on Thursday, but said he would not send US troops back to Iraq.
The Sunni Muslim group IS, formerly known as Isis, now has control of large swathes of Iraq and Syria.
In June, IS took control of the city of Mosul. Its fighters seized Qaraqosh, Iraq's biggest Christian town, earlier this week.
'Carefully and responsibly'
According to the Pentagon statement, two F/A-18 aircraft dropped 500-pound laser-guided bombs on mobile artillery near Irbil.
Pentagon press secretary Rear Admiral John Kirby said IS had been using the artillery to shell Kurdish forces defending Irbil, where US personnel are based.
Speaking on Thursday, Mr Obama said the Iraqi government had requested assistance and the US would act "carefully and responsibly, to prevent a potential act of genocide" against the Yazidi and Christian communities - both minority groups in Iraq.
Dr Marzio Babille, Unicef's representative in Iraq, said the Yazidis were in an extremely precarious situation because of the "very aggressive and brutal" IS militants.
He said there were many "logistical and strategic difficulties", but added that a humanitarian corridor needed to be established.

China's Ghost TownsFifteen years ago, China changed its policy so people could buy their own homes. Real-estate investments boomed, and new cities began popping up each year, many inspired by western design and mimicking iconic locales like Paris and lower Manhattan. The problem is: people don't live here. One ghost city in Inner Mongolia, built to house one million people, is now an empty shell of unoccupied skyscrapers and abandoned construction sites. VICE checks out this and other urban failures to figure out how China's preoccupation with growing its GNP turned "supply and demand" into "build now, sell later.
Egypt on the BrinkOver two years ago, Arab Spring climaxed in the overthrow of President Mubarek in Egypt. But for many Egyptians, the situation has actually gotten worse, as has the man who replaced Mubarek: Mohamed Morsi, elected under the radical Muslim Brotherhood banner. VICE visits the embattled streets of Cairo, where opposition to Morsi has resulted in renewed mass protests and violence in Tahrir Square. Among those we meet: members of the Black Bloc, youthful revolutionaries who disguise themselves with hoods and scarfs while vowing to oust Morsi and destroy the Muslim Brotherhood.
West Africa is being plagued by a new outbreak of Ebola — a terrifying disease that causes its victims to bleed to death from the inside out. Ebola has no cure, and the latest epidemic is spreading fast.
VICE News visited Liberia, where many feel the new outbreak began, borne from the bushmeat markets of Lofa. Western scientists feel that the consumption and preparation of meat from monkeys, fruit bats, and other forest animals is behind the transmission of Ebola, and possibly a new supervirus, which if left uncontrolled could kill a third of the world's population.
Critics contend that a higher minimum will hurt jobs and consumers.A new analysis from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office indicates that both sides have a point.
The key takeaways from the CBO report: Gradually raising the federal minimum wage to $10.10 from $7.25 would boost the incomes of most low-wage workers and lift 900,000 out of poverty. But it could also result in the loss of 500,000 jobs.
Is 500,000 workers a lot? On the one hand that’s half a million people who will be hurt by a loss of income. But on a more macro level, the CBO said it represents only a 0.3% decrease in employment.
Why could there be job loss? A mix of reasons. A higher minimum wage raises payroll costs for an employer. That employer may handle those higher costs in any of several ways: cut jobs, reduce worker hours, curb summer hiring, opt not to replace workers who leave; book lower profits; or raise prices on customers.
